HISTORY: Pluto Sent a Heart back to Earth

Pluto has not yet been visited by a spacecraft, but one is on its way. In January 2006, NASA launched the first mission to Pluto. This mission, called New Horizons, will reach Pluto in July 2015.
TODAY- Another History has been made after the New Horizon Spacecraft that was sent to Pluto which traveled more than 9 years and 3+ billion miles reached the Circle of the Planet.
This is the last and most detailed image of Pluto sent to Earth before the moment of closest approach, which was at 7:49 a.m. EDT today.
