Man Finds Out He's Missing Half a Brain After Being Hospitalized with Leg Pain!

A+ A-

The 10 percent of the brain myth is the widely perpetuated urban legend that most or all humans only make use of 10 percent (or some other small percentage) of their brains. It has been misattributed to many people, including Albert Einstein.

But what are you going to do when you find out that you're missing half of your brain?

As for how he survived for so long, experts point to the concept of “brain plasticity”. Although different parts of the brain are used for separate tasks, scientists now believe the brain is able to reorganize its neural pathways to allow areas of the brain to undertake other tasks than those intended.
