On International Beauty Queen Pageants, long before Kevin Balot was crowned as the Miss International, there was another transgender who amazed the whole world. Her name is Poyd Treechada, she was named Miss International Queen in year 2004.
Born male, Poyd already knew she was a girl in his young age. But according to an interview, her mother beat her up for wearing a friend's skirt. He was forced to act as a boy, forced to play football and other typical toys that is really made for boys.
But Poyd decided to pursue her dreams to become a real woman, she have gone through surgery at the age 18. After a successful operation, she joined the most prestigious beauty competition for transgenders and was crowned as the Miss Tiffany Universe and the First Miss International Queen beauty titles which held at Pattaya, Thailand every year.
