A night before the event, the Los Angeles-based designer from Philippines, Oliver Tolentino received a call from Las Vegas saying Miss Philippines needs to have a substitute gown, as the prepared gown for her wouldn't fit.
This wardrobe emergency problem leads to put Oliver on pressure, he was on Ski vacation in Aspen during that time but then he still managed to find the perfect evening gown for her which is a red Swarovski-encrusted bodice and a high slit in front.
“I have no idea why this was all so last minute, but anyway, I was happy to help Pia and the Philippines, even though I was not there,” Oliver said.
