The accident was caught on a video which is already viral all over the internet. The lady was driving her Proton Gen2 against the traffic as many cars tried to avoid her. However, she crashed into an on-coming Perodua Kelisa before it hit another van and a motorcycle. The accident made a fatal impact and resulted in the death of the man driving the Perodua Kelisa. News site World of Buzz reported that the man was identified as Mohd Fendi, 26 years old and was a father-to-be.
Other motorists who were also involved in the accident acquired minor injuries. The 19-year-old girl also received minor wounds on her left eye. They were sent to Hospital Bukit Mertajam for treatments. However, the lady was detained for investigations. She was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol.
When her medical examination results came out, it was discovered that she was under the influence of meth while driving her car. She is now currently facing legal charges as she violated Malaysia’s Road Transport Act 1987, Section 41 as her reckless driving caused death of a civilian.
Meanwhile, netizens expressed their rage over the incident, claiming that the girl should be punished and sent to jail for what happened. They were disappointed over the fact that an innocent man was slain in the fatal accident.
