Jhong Hilario was one of the trailblazers of the noontime entertainment show 'It's Showtime'. But recently, everyone was baffled after he announced that he's moving to leave the show for some reason.

 The announcement happened last March 23, 2016, which sadden the fans and his fellow hosts. He gave his short message during the portion of 'Tawag ng Tanghalan'.

Jhong Hilario's message before leaving the show:

"Last day ko na ngayon, Mami-miss ko kayo. Gusto kong magpasalamat (sa inyong lahat). Direk Bobet (Vidanes), thank you po sa lahat."

 He didn't state the reasons why he has to leave the show, but there are rumors that he is running for councilor in Makati City for the upcoming 2016 election.

He's not the first to diverge from the show. Coleen Garcia left because she wanted to focus on her acting career, said the reports.
