JUST IN: Senator Poe Immediately Rejects Mar Roxas' Offer to Talk for "Unity!"

After Mar Roxas calls for a unity talk with Senator Grace Poe, a statement has been released from Poe saying that they don't have anything to talk about. She rejected the offer of alliance, stating that she sees no reason to give her fight.

 In an interview she mentioned: "Anytime puwede namang mag-usap pero sa puntong ito, ano pa ba ang pag-uusapan?"

Poe also emphasized in a radio interview with DZMM that she has no reason to withdraw her candidacy. She stated: "Wala naman kasing dahilan para gawin ko 'yun, ano. Isang survey kung saan sinasabi nakalamang siya ng isa, pero dalawa naman ang lumabas at 'yung una sinasabing lamang na rin ako sa kanya. Parang wala naman yatang katuturan at dahilan 'yun. Para sa akin, medyo katraydoran din na bigla na lang kami-kami lang ang magdedesisyon."

 "Ngayon, kung talagang maluwag sa kanyang puso at naniniwala siya na isa ang dapat umatras para naman lumakas ang aming puwersa, bakit hindi? Desisyon niya 'yun. Pero para sa akin, wala na kaming dapat pag-usapan, kung 'yun ang inaasahan niya sa akin, the lady senator mentioned as she questions the intention of Roxas."

 Furthermore, she is wondering about the timing of the offer and why Mar needed to do it in a press briefing when in fact, he can privately talk with her through a  phone call. She said: "Oo, magkaalam naman kami ng cellphone (numbers), pero ipinarating niya mula sa media. Siguro gusto niya akong malagay sa posisyon kung saan baka mapa-oo ako pero alam mo hindi naman ganoon kadali."

 Lastly, Senator Poe conveyed that she doesn't have any intentions of supporting the administration bet because of previous criticisms she threw to the Aquino administration for "causing disillusionment" to the public. She stated: "May disillusionment sa gobyerno na kakulangan ng kanilang pakiramdam at pagbigay ng pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan, tapos bigla na lang susuportahan ko sila? Parang hindi naman yata 'yun naaayon sa aking mga sinasabi at ipinaglalaban nitong mga nakaraang buwan.”

    I bet Mar Roxas only tried to follow PNoy in his wish for Unity but in truth he will never withdraw from the race if Poe in return will ask him to withdraw. Its Illogical if he will ask Grace to withdraw because she has a higher rating than his. Kumbaga pakitang tao lang para sabihin nya kay Panot "O, I already reached her. The ball is in her hands."
