Sarah Geronimo was recently on the hot seat after leaving The Voice. She was set to be one of the judges in the 3rd season of The Voice Kids, but she vacated the position and was given to Mega Star Sharon Cuneta. There were rumors that Sarah Geronimo is preparing to get married. However, the Popstar Princess clarified the issue.
She was interviewed after she renewed her contract with the Kapamilya network, she said: "Sasabihin ko lang na gusto ko lang pong bumalik sa ASAP, talagang 'yung mag-concentrate naman sa growth ko bilang artist. Kasi I feel na bilang coach, parang lagi ko nga pong sinasabi na role-playing talaga 'yung pagiging coach."
Geronimo also admitted: "Yung para bang alam ko lahat, kapag nagbibigay ako ng opinion, para bang ang galing-galing ko. Medyo naghe-hesitate parin po ako doon."
On the other hand, Cuneta was asked about her feeling in replacing Sarah as a coach. The Mega Star said: "I love Sarah! It should not be a problem. First of all, it happens in the business every once in a while, that a good artist decides to do other projects and then somebody has to take her place."
Cuneta also pointed out: "In this case, I don't think kung sinu-sino lang si Sarah. The mere fact na umalis 'yong bata hindi ibig sabihin na parang panakip butas lang. Hindi kukuha ang staff at bosses ng The Voice Kids ng kung sino lang."
