Everyone just recently celebrated Father's Day. Netizens flooded the social media with photos of their dad and touching messages just to convey how they love them. Others even treated their fathers in lunch or dinner. A few spent the special day at home and cooked their dad's favorite food. But, are we really getting the essence of this celebration?

 A video that we saw online is a perfect illustration of the Father's Day spirit. A son ignored his daddy and lived his own life the way he wanted it to be. He left home robbing money from his dad and spent it for his vices. The worst situation happened and his father entered the scene to save his son from death. This video will surely make you cry.

This short film was inspired by the story in the Bible, "The Prodigal Son." However, the greatest love that a father gave happened at the Cross of Calvary when Jesus died to save us. That is also the true meaning of Father's Day. We should always be thankful for our parents because they are the only person who can give us unconditional love.
