Ogie Diaz, an actor, entertainment writer and a comedian who manages actress Liza Soberano now breaks his silence on his connection to Xian Gaza, Erich Gonzales‘s controversial admirer who paid a giant billboard in Morayta, Manila asking her out on a coffee date.

 On Ogie’s Facebook page, he said that the young businessman is an acquaintance of him and that he is a nice person.

 According to Ogie: “Ang dami na rin lang nagtatanong tungkol kay Xian S. Gaza kung kaibigan ko ba siya? Scammer ba siya? Manloloko? O talagang matinong businessman at business partner talaga ako? “Kasi na-drag na ang name ko (wow, na-drag talaga) sa isang post ng isang taong may galit o bad experience kay Xian. “Yes. Kilala ko siya. Mabait naman siya sa akin at sa mga kaibigan ko. In fairness.”
The comedian also revealed that he was supposed to invest in Xian’s business but decided to pull out because he needed to use the money for his property.

 He said: “Yes, inalok niya akong investor sa civet coffee business niya, pero nag-pullout po ako ng investment (with interest gain naman) dahil sa kailangan ko ng pera para sa isang property na deadline na for full payment about 2 weeks ago.”
Ogie denied knowing anything about Xian’s coffee date offer to the Kapamilya actress.

 “Yung kay Erich Gonzales na viral ngayon, hindi ko po alam yan. Baka diskarte niya yan bilang manliligaw. Nung na-viral na, dun ko lang nabasa.”
Ogie added that Xian, who has been accused of being a scammer in the past – apologized to him for dragging his name into the controversy.

 “Hiyang-hiya nga sa akin si Xian at nagso-sorry dahil nadadamay na raw ako at yung pagpapa-picture niya with Liza Soberano ay nagagamit din.

 “Hindi ko po alam ang mga transactions niya in the past. Kung meron mang concerns ang ibang tao sa kanya, dumirekta na lang po sa kanya, wag na po sa akin. “Mula nung mag-pullout po ako ng investment (parang ang laki-laki naman, hahaha!) sa kanya, hindi na po kami nagkita. Huli naming usap ay yung na-viral ang coffee invite nya kay Erich. “Nagtampo nga ako… dahil pag nagkakape kami, hindi naman naman niya pinapagawaan ng billboard. Charot.”

Recently, Viva artist Ella Cruz’s mother came out to expose how her family was scammed by Xian Gaza. She said that Xian was stalking his daughter that’s why they had pictures together. Aside from Ella, the young millionaire had also pictures together with other celebrities like Liza Soberano.
