In the top 6, there is a quick question and answer portion before the final round. Maxine Medina was the first candidate to be called among the top 6.
Steve Harvey, the host asked Medina, ”What is the most significant change you’ve seen in the world in the last 10 years?”

I believe the interpreter should have said Ano ang pinakamakabuluhang pagbabago ang nakita mong naganap sa mundo sa nakalipas na sampung taon? In which answers could fall into "CLIMATE CHANGE" That the judges want to hear,It is so obvious na lalayo talaga yung sagot ni Maxine kung di mo ginamit yung word na pagbabago.Maxine is having a hard time to analyze the questions,The interpreter should at least brought his questions clearly.

ReplyDeleteKaya pala may nag translate ng question para sa kanya ngayong Miss Universe...nung Bb Pilipinas pa lang parang di nya naintindahan masyado ung question. Ngayong Miss Universe, mukhang di nya talaga na-gets masyado ung question in English and she relied on the interpreter na hindi accurate ang translation as pointed out in one of the above comments, kaya sablay ang sagot nya...Sayang, I feel sad for her, chance na nya sana to prove her bashers wrong. She could have shown that she can communicate confidently and articulately had she understood the question correctly.
