However, The LAD Bible reported that a certain young woman in Britain spent around 3,100 pounds (approximated to be around 189,636.23 pesos) just to alter the appearance of her own vagina because according to her, it seemed like it’s a “big Mac burger with the filling hanging out.”
Antonia appeared on ‘My Unusual Vagina,’ a show on BBC, where she stated that she was extremely tormented by men when they saw it. It made her feel insecure and uncomfortable about herself, so she has decided to avoid sexual encounters with men since then.
She also mentioned that her situation was physically causing her pain as well. "The skin flaps are like elastic bands, if I was to pull them, I could get them down to my thigh. For me sex is difficult, because it can hurt and feel uncomfortable."
Antonia went to a private clinic because the NHS (the National Health Services) wouldn’t provide her surgery, despite her enlarged labia that had caused her to swell and feel discomfort.
The surgery made her feel better, she stated. Before, she received statements like “I can't wait to sleep with someone with a normal vagina,” and “you've got a pair of balls.”
"How are you supposed to enjoy sex when the main organ that you would use you feel completely embarrassed by, and then on the other hand it hurts physically," she said in the show. "It is not an aspect of my life that is explored and enjoyed."
